So to my friends and family (and anyone reading this) who share my interest here are some links where you can find more information and free classes.
http://www.rocktheshot.com This is a forum type website where you can read but to post or receive free downloads (templates, textures, actions, presets) you’ll need a membership. Still a good source.
http://www.creativelive.com offers free workshops in streaming video. Free while it’s new but rather expensive to buy. Great if you have time to watch over several days, usually a weekend.
http://www.learnmyshot.com has videos and articles to learn different shots. Most recently it’s about shooting steaming coffee. Haven’t read it yet but it sounds fun and challenging.
http://www.Iheartfaces.com is a blog with contests and lots of information. Nice if you’re into people photography.
Even if you’re only into taking better snapshots, check out these sites. You might also find links from there to take you to things you’re more interested in.
Oh yea, and don’t forget youtube.com You can learn anything there. A lot of the paying sites (like lynda.com) have free videos there.
If you have any favorites please share in the comments.
